The owner, being Australian with Lebanese origins, wanted a small private retreat in his home town kferzayna. Although the house’s area is no more than 120 m2, its layout provided a confortable functional accommodation for the inhabitants. With minimal necessary openings in this cubic formation, the interior was kind of secluded from any exterior intrusions, yet providing adequate ventilation and light. This single-story house hosted a vinery covered terrace on its flat roof, merging some of the traditional nostalgic Lebanese features with the contemporary minimal architecture.
